There is a known issue with some older releases when you try to use the Install button to upgrade the Windows (.msi) version (Basic and Pro). After downloading the new release the installer fails to run, and a Windows Installer message is displayed instead.

Close this window, restart the TV application, and use the Download button instead. Then close the TV application and manually run the .msi file you downloaded to upgrade.
